Bob Marley and The Wailers live Nassau, Bahamas December 15, 1979

Bob Marley and the Wailers

Queen Elizabeth Sports Center
Nassau, Bahamas
December 15, 1979 A great recording from the Soundboard.  One of the best in quality plus as usual a wicked set and tight performance.

Review

    * last show of the Survival Tour in 1979.
    * last known live performance of “Wake Up And Live”, “Ambush In The Night”, “One Drop”, “Rat Race” and “Rebel Music
     (3 O’Clock Roadblock)”.
    * last live performance with the Zap Pow horn section.
    * free benefit show for the International Year Of The Child.
    * rare 1979 live performances of “Roots, Rock, Reggae”, “Rat Race” and “Rebel Music (3 O’Clock Roadblock)”.
    * the recording has a few cuts. During “Africa Unite” there is a short cut, “Roots, Rock, Reggae” cuts in and “Lively Up Yourself”
      cuts out at the
      beginning of the song.

The three segments represent the three known shows in existence from the Max's run, July 18-23. None of the dates are certain, so all three are included in this one database record, as they now circulate together. According to the records, Set 3, as it is called, has been in circulation 8 years longer than the other two sets.
